Smeaton Tearoom is open daily, all year round, and offers a varied selection of lunches, snacks and treats, all freshly prepared and baked on site. As well as the daily selection of home baked cakes and scones, some other favourites include the Smeaton Cream Tea (pictured below), Prestonmains baked potatoes with a variety of toppings, traditional ploughman's platter, and the daily special.

 

The Tearoom, transformed (as shown above) in 2004 from the original propagation house, boiler room and apple store, has a traditional feel that compliments the surrounding historic walled garden.

 

With ample seating indoor and out, restrooms, baby changing facilities and good disabled access, the Tearoom is an attractive addition to the splendid surrounds of the bustling walled nursery.
